Job Won! For America’s Veterans leads Veteran Day Activities

Phil Blair, author of Job Won! For America’s Veterans announces several events taking place in support of veterans transitioning from military service into private and public sectors.

All events are open to the public, unless noted.

Friday, October 25th, 10:00am-3:00pm: San Diego Military Family Collaborative Annual Summit, Get the Word Out. Join 200+ military spouse leaders, command leadership and family service professionals from across San Diego! Link: SD Military Family Collaborative

Friday, November 8^th, 11:30am – 1:30pm: San Diego Chamber of Commerce: From Service Member to Civilian, Panel Discussion. A New Workforce of Leaders. The Veterans Museum at Balboa Park, 2115 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101. Link: Veteran Hiring Panel

Panelists include Job Won! For America’s Veterans, the Red Cross, Zero 8 Hundred, Workshops for Warriors, Amazon, Hearts & Homes addressing best practice opportunities for transitioning veterans.

Saturday, November 9^th, 8:00am – 12:00pm: Book signing with Phil at California Bicycle, La Jolla, 7462 La Jolla Boulevard. Light refreshments served. A percent of book sale proceeds go to support a local veteran affiliated cycling club. The day starts with a casual 25mile no drop ride led by Ride 2 Recovery.

Special note: Job Won! For America’s Veterans is sponsoring Ride 2 Recovery, Las Vegas Honor Ride on this date. Several hundred participants get together in support of riding with those who served. We are also partnered with this national organization

Monday, November 11^th, 10:00am – 12:00pm: Supporting those who’ve served at the Veterans Day Parade. North Harbor Drive to Pacific Highway.

Thursday November 14th, 10:00-11:00am: Career Transition – Take Charge of Tomorrow with Career Ready Prep. Scottish Rite Masonic Temple Mission Valley. Link: Transition Seminar
